South Central Indiana Corvette Club Fall Road
Trip - Oct. 26-28, 2007
Our Fall Road Trip was a wonderful cornucopia
of fall colors, wonderful aromas, great food, old and new friends,
and beautiful scenes for the 19 Corvettes participating in our trip
to and through Kentucky.

Friday morning, October 26th we started
gathering at SR44 and I65 for the first leg of our trip, and we
picked up more cars along the way at two more stops. Our
destination on Friday was the Corvette Factory and the Corvette
Museum in Bowling Green, KY. After spending the night in
Bowling Green, we headed out Saturday morning for Bloomfield and on
to Bardstown. |

Saturday there were many sites to visit and
places to tour, sample the goods, and do some shopping. There
were several B&B's and hotels where the group stayed Saturday night
in historic Bardstown, after we all met for dinner. Lots of
options for this large group were available and everyone found
something they enjoyed. Some of the places available for
touring were, Makers Mark, Jim Beam, Heaven Hill, Spring Hill
Winery, Bloomfield shopping, Gethsemani Abbey, horse drawn trolley
tours, ghost tour of Bardstown, My Old Kentucky Home, Civil War
Museum, historic homes of Bardstown, and more shopping.
